The chicken at starbird is top notch, although it is in the pricier side. My favorite is the lemon pepper boneless wings. Give it a try!
Starbird has the best chicken salads! Even better than some sit down restaurants, in my opinion. They are vibrant, full of flavor, and packed with fresh veggies. Their Thai ginger salad is now my go-to, since they've 86'd the blue cheese and buffalo salad (it was awesome- please bring it back)! They also used to have the best tater tots!! They aren't featured, but they still have them. So good. Tip: they have Starbird gift cards at Costco at a discounted rate. Grab the gift cards there to save yourself some money. The parking there is pretty limited, so for most it's easier to order through an app.
Came here with a party of three for a late lunch and we ended up ordering two Thai chicken salads and a kids lil tender box for my friend who was not as hungry. The salad is so filling for the price and comes loaded with protein and veggies for the fiber! The fried chicken is also not too greasy and is very well seasoned, the drizzle sauce it comes with adds a great sweet and savory flavor to the dish itself. There is a lot of indoor and outdoor seating and I love that the location is decorated in such a distinct manner that markets itself as being different from other fast food/fast casual restaurants.
My SO raves about starbird so we grabbed a family size box with friends along with a chicken salad. We each got 3 tenders, tater tots and shared the chicken salad. The chicken is crispy, tender and juicy ~ The food was pretty satisfying and I can attest to the hype
A few blocks away from the 85 exit on El Camino so you'll be making a quick right in the shopping center to this small and extremely tight parking for Starbird. That's why most people order and pick up. And some like to dine in. First time here and must say I was quite impressed. The chicken lived up to its reputation, fresh and crispy in my salad and sandwich. Inside the establishment you can either order at kiosk or walk up to cashier. I ordered the Thai Chicken salad and Chicken Parm sandwich. Delightful to my expectations and I shall return.
I love Starbird and have been coming here for several years. It's a super tasty fried chicken place with lots of fun fresh options. My favorite is their Nashville hot chicken on an Elote or chopped salad but there's plenty of other items as well. It's easy to order through the app (and get rewards this way too!!) and pick up or each there in the small dining area or patio. My only sadness is that there no closer locations to Reno/Tahoe. Please come closer Starbird - we need a good fried chicken place like yours up here in Tahoe!

Had the opportunity to try this Starbird after my cycling class! I love the Starbird location at Campbell, so I had to try the Sunnyvale location. There's a small yet tight private parking lot, but I managed to find parking that night. Nice interior with clean tables when I walked in a moderate amount of diners and to go orders. I ordered from their self serve kiosk and waited about 10 minutes until my chicken salad was ready. Delicious, made to order with extra avocado and bacon, and definitely hit the spot.
